Attorney Guo has repeatedly served as lead attorney for major cross-border merger and acquisition transactions in China, providing end-to-end legal services to multinational corporations, including conducting comprehensive legal due diligence, designing and executing transaction structures, implementing risk mitigation strategies, facilitating technology and brand collaborations, managing merger control filings for concentrations of undertakings with the Ministry of Commerce.

Attorney Guo has achieved outstanding results across Intellectual Property, International Technology Transfer, Antitrust, Anti-Unfair Competition, Corporate Compliance Legal Services, and Dispute Resolution (including Litigation and Arbitration). Representative Cases include:

• Represented Sony Corporation (Japan) and its Chinese subsidiary in handling unfair competition litigation concerning lithium-ion battery technology against Sichuan Dexian Company. This case was China’s first civil lawsuit alleging abuse of intellectual property rights for monopolistic purposes, occurring during the drafting process of China’s Anti-Monopoly Law. After nearly 3 years, a complete victory was achieved. The case was included in the Selected Intellectual Property Cases published by the Shanghai High People’s Court.
• Represented Thyssenkrupp Elevator Company in handling major technology contract disputes and patent/proprietary technology infringement arbitration cases against Shenyang Blue Light Drive Technology Company, obtaining a complete victory.
• Represented a renowned Japanese high-tech multinational corporation specializing in chemical materials in investigating and handling cases where former employees and their new employers infringed the original company's patent rights/technical secrets, including civil litigation and subsequent criminal proceedings.
• Represented a Japanese chemical enterprise in handling trademark infringement disputes and domain name disputes, filing a domain name dispute arbitration with the CIETAC Domain Name Dispute Resolution Center, ultimately achieving a complete victory.
• Represented a well-known Japanese cosmetics company in successfully handling product counterfeit infringement matters through administrative relief measures.
• Represented Australia's Crown Group in handling compliance violation cases involving its Chinese marketing team and overall crisis response; subsequently served as defense counsel for the suspects involved, providing legal defense that ultimately secured lenient treatment and reduced penalties.
